Brexit and EU customs clearance

Information relating to Brexit and exporting to the EU:

EU customers and dropshippers to the EU, please note:

SInce Brexit from 1 January 2021 and again due to the new EU Tax harmonisation system implemented from 1 July 2021 (also called One Stop Shop), there are long delays in delivery of orders shipped from the UK to all EU countries.
In some cases, EU customs reject orders for no apparent reason and send parcels back to us.

## As we advise on the popup during checkout, many EU countries will not accept non vegan products (animal products) such as Krill oil, omega oil, whey protein powder

1) Business to Business (B2B) orders shipped to the EU via courier require extra paperwork (which we create), and these are normally delivered to the EU destination country between 1 and 3 weeks.
All orders over 2kg must be shipped to the EU using a courier.
The delivery delays are due to EU customs checks and the huge backlog in orders processing due to all the extra clearance paperwork.
NOTE: customs will contact you (normally only via text message) regarding any import taxes payments.
They will not release your goods until this has been paid so make sure the contact details you provide us are correct.
The whole customs clearance process in the EU is quite chaotic at the time of writing this information, and not at all streamlined or efficient.

2) Business to Customer (B2C) orders are normally dropship orders which we ship direct to your customer in the EU.
We fill out the Customs Declarations slip for you on the Royal Mail website and this is pasted on the parcel.

Delivery of these orders takes between 3 and 6 weeks in some cases.
As above, there are often extended delays due to the huge processing backlogs at EU customs and the chaotic collection of EU tax for deliveries.
For dropship orders, your EU customer will be sent a letter, text message or email regarding any taxes due or collection will be made at the time of delivery (this is what we have been informed).

As from 28 June 2023, we are requesting additional information from you for all International Dropship Orders, on the order checkout page.

There are a number of EU countries which are very difficult to clear goods with ie...
Belgium (we are not sure if products need to be registerd with local authorities)
Germany (we are not sure if products need to be registerd with local authorities)
Portugal (products need to be registerd with local authorities)
Spain (we are not sure if products need to be registerd with local authorities)
Italy (products need to be registerd with local authorities)
Luxembourg (we are not sure if products need to be registerd with local authorities)
IRELAND (we are not sure if products need to be registerd with local authorities)

> We do not advise trying to ship to the above countries and they may not appear as available destinations when you check out on the shopping cart.
You can arrange collection of the order from us and ship to these countries yourself but it is very time consuming and complicated.
We are not able to provide advise on exporting. Please contact the relevant UK agency for help.

Unfortunately we cannot help you further with details on exporting as its as clear as mud. Please contact your local VAT / UK customs office for help or look online for information.

Unless you ship dropship orders using the Tracked and / or Signed for shipping options which are available during checkout, you will not have any tracking for the parcel.

Countries we no longer dropship to. You can arrange collection of the order from us and ship to these countries yourself.
